Genuine question: Is this kind of doomsaying and lamentation of player counts normal for /mhg/? All the times I've been in these generals - World release, KT update, Iceborne release, Safi update, Fatalis update, Rise release, Sunbreak release, and now Wilds release - I didn't notice it until Wilds.

I play monhun in bursts and then leave until big updates. Are there really people that play it non-stop WHILE complaining that not enough thousands of others are playing it too?

I'm just curious if this is normal for long-running generals or if this is another symptom of /nu-v/ faggotry that I've had to endure for years now, but never paid to close attention to it while in various /vg/ threads.
