Just click this button on the event page, it'll take you to the bosses. Madarame is locked, Kaneshiro is still there. If he's also locked your client is bugged or something.

His boss page had a timer on it saying when it would go away. It should have been clearer but it was there. Personally I think it's retarded that he went away at all, he should have persisted for the entire event's length imo. Hope they don't do this shit for future events, it's too FOMO for my tastes.
