Akantor Ukanlos were pretty good for their time.
Ala, nuFatalis, even Safi, Kulve and Allmother were solid, Gais felt like a downgrade and he isn't really that big. There are some monsters like old Amatsu that were only interesting in the last 1/3 of the fight, but most people didn't even saw his last phase more than once if at all.

It's neither a spectacle nor memorable fight. What pisses me off the most is, it's also a huge waste of potential.
The fight should be backwards.
>start at the lowest floor
>after a while he rages and tries to climb out
>if you did enough damage he falls down and enters phase 3 (more challenging fight)
>if you are a scrub he climbs a layer and you use your wirebugs to follow after him
>at the end you get a spectacle where you kill him at the last second before climbing out, with the help of Fiorayne and the Admirals tactical nuke or something

Even without changing anything about the fight itself, this would've created some tension and makes some use of his last phase.
Instead its a multi stage bullying because that lizard dared to leave his cage.
