Time is sort of like entropy which affects/rots the "material" and returns "orderly" molecular structures back into a chaotic state (decay), the only eternal thing that comes to mind is energy, energy is eternal/beyond time no? We are Eternal Souls/Energy inside a meaty automaton...

Time doesn't really "End", the "clock" just resets at the end of a cycle (Big Crunch/Ouroboros).
