I like Gamebryo
even for the graphics, its not overwhelming with visual greeble everywhere. I can wrap my head around the videogame world im in and its not a chore to play. I would have kept playing Starfield if they'd done the rewards better (not spoiling me with my own SPACESHIP for completing the tutorial). Also my autism demands i collect every loose item, so picking up crumpled napkins and shit needed to be done by my NPC team or deployable bots or something. But I feel like they're going broadly the right direction with constructing your own colony, and gunplay. I don't care about companions or conversations or weapon mods. I liked some of the procedural worlds. I wish they had made a live connector around the modding system so you could let an LLM generate content on the fly as you play it. But instead there isn't even an official manual really for the GECK or whatever it is now. I'll keep playing Toddlikes but he's getting older, there aren't that many games left before he retires some day, and it feels like he's the old school Computer Game player that is keeping the spirit alive
