Any thoughts on Nagano for 2 nights? We won't have a car so would have to rely on public transport but like hiking (and quite keen to see the little monkey fellas having a bath) and looking to book a Ryokan. Wondering if there's somewhere better to go (will also be doing Tokyo, Kyoto, Hiroshima and Osaka.
