They did a shit job, then. The XK120 is the best looking car in history, maybe tied with the 250 GTO.
I used to ride the bus past a green XK120 on blocks every day in middle school, way before I knew shit about cars, and I knew it was special and I dreamed about restoring it.
I love Corvettes, but none of them have ever come close to the work of art that the 120 was.
