basically a fuckhuge amount of money went into football field and stadium constructions as govt gibs (both bc el presidente is a rabid footy fan and bc this was another way of stealing public money bc the cronies and el presidente owns the big construction companies)
And also there was a scheme for a decade that companies could get tax break if they channel money to support football clubs (ofc the biggest ones are in the hands of el presidente and his cronies)
And also things like one of the cronies made a sport equipmebt company and it was supported with govt gibs and every team plus the national one was "advised" to buy from that (ofc these clowns cant run companies properly so it went bankrupt in like 2-3 years and everyone uses proper brands again)

a lot of money was spent on retard high footballer salaries and such and transfers.
