Unless youre about to go homeless and selling the car is the only way to not be, just keep it. I was in the exact same place with my E30. Fixed a junker up, tore it apart with grand plans and then it spent the next 5 years on Jack stands while I got distracted with other projects.
I contemplated selling many times but ultimately it ended up being the only shitbox I didn't sell. I realize now that I would have greatly regretted selling it.
