Because it's within a 4hr drive of Miamo, Tampa, and Jacksonville in Orlando and Florida has been waiting for a con for 10 FUCKING YEARS because the nearest convention to us has always been Harmony at 18hrs of driving away.
That's why, there's a bunch of people who want to go to a pony convention and can't make a flight or the long roadtrip and Mare Fair is right there.
