You may have noticed that since the introduction of other named black cats by contract, we have a lot more background cat people. This is pretty different from chapter 29 when Rokumon's meeting was with a bunch of completely ordinary looking black cats.
Pretty much retconned, I guess but maybe you can say it was a casual day at the office or something like that. I kind of would like to hear how Rumiko would justify it.
