Schizo theory, but towards the end of the OP, X snaps his fingers and looks at something/someone as they're falling down from a building. Coupled with the show's weird ad/banner displaying X's face for the first time right behind Nice as he's falling from the edge of the building makes this a very weird coincidence. All of this makes me think that X may be responsible for Nice's death.
