You literally admit that the entire thing is held together by Solver eldritch magic fuckery, either way I think you're getting the wrong idea that people are saying that Tessa's body is alive.
She isn't, the flesh and blood IS alive though because of - like you said - Solver bullshit.
The Absolute Solver talks about assimilation in general, not JUST in regard to machines. Look at the entire opening of Episode 7. The Solver assimilates the flesh of loads of Human researchers, and drags Dr. Ridley away and reduces her to a bare skeleton.
