Wish ff8 had the same mechanics as ff7/9 and the level scaling so u could grind to get stronger. Making the whole world's monsters scale with you was a bit of a dumb decision by them. I keep meaning to go back and finish it once and for all, as I never did over the years. All the stuff with GF's felt like a clusterfuck too even though the story world and music were on par with the other final fantasys
