I loved it. Simple, yes. Duh. Basically just a visual representation for the automatic stat increases that happen in a typical RPG. At your own discretion and pace, if you decide and when. This is done because of how much depth and flexibility can come from this system later on whenever you have more roles, much like a lot of other things in the game that were balanced around the end, not the beginning

Love me all female party in vidya. Some of the most memorable moments for me. Expedition 33 had a really great all female party lineup too.

I also really like the equipment system, though it's obviously very flawed. I like the way that basically everything you pick up can instantly be used to power up your stuff. Got 100 bloody hides? Fucking use them right now on your sword. It's a bit silly imagining using "strange ooze" and "particle accelerator" in order to power up a gunblade, but at the same time it just feels right. Every little bit and bob is useful, whether you want to upgrade armor or weapons or accessories. It was fun collecting massive amounts of material and dumping them into weapons and watching that stat shoot through the roof. Simple pleasure and it's what RPG's really are all about.
