This. I honestly do not understand what lesson authors tried to teach through it because it turned so fast in "submit to nanny or fight for your right to remain you" that only thing I could think of is proportionality of response. Ironically in this episode before escalation it was fucking Helga who at least somewhat tried to reach some middle ground while nanny, despite supposedly being on "righteous" side, pushed forward without any consideration for child opinion whatsoever, even when that child already clearly gone into full antagonism.
But then I guess that episode really shows one thing perfectlly - that children can go to ridicilous lengths(hello, false charges, incidents leading to traumas and deaths and suicide) to restore status quo or revert things in some seemingly unimportant for a grown-up thing and this is why it is so fucking important to communicate with them.
