One interesting thing about most GY decks is that they'll typically either function via trigger effects or by banishing from GY to activate their effects. If they have monsters that can special summon themselves from the GY as a non-trigger, they'll often do so via either banishing (or shuffling in the case of Tecuhtlica) mats from GY, or by discarding/destroying/tributing/etc a single card, which will usually also plus you. The notable exceptions are the weird Chaos clones like Lightpulsar and Dark Simorgh, which very clearly have a Chaos-style banish from GY effect to summon from hand, but also a reborning effect but with the downside of a heavy minus to balance the recursion, the Nine-Tailed Fox effect I'm pretty sure no one uses, the shitty Poseidra, and Ogdoadics. It also turns out that needing to get rid of more than 1 card for an inherent reborn effect is kind of usually fucking terrible
