Because the dpad on my Switch 2 pro controller is way the fuck better than the dpad on my switch 1 totk pro controller, which should be a late enough gen of a pro controller to have an updated dpad.
I did the same test he did in the video and there are no doubts about how my switch 2 dpad is way better.
I only have one Switch 2 pro controller. But if there are a lot of people claiming that it's great and then people claiming that it's bad, then I can only assume that there is a large variance in build quality. But this was news to me, that people apparently have issues with the new dpad.
