I watched it and found it to be creatively bankrupt, boring, and unfunny which was kinda sad. I don't know anything about modern South Park, but I was caught up about 14 years ago before I quit watching. I don't vote and don't concern myself with politics. It was just fucking BORING. It felt soulless and dead, like they ran out of creative juice years ago and are just keeping the corpse of their dead show on forced life support because they somehow keep making money off of it despite it dying long ago. Why did they rehash the same joke about saddam? They couldn't make up a new, unique, and funny role for trump so they just did the same old joke again. I found it very lazy and strange that they'd blatantly compare trump to saddam. Trump is not a good guy but saddam is a hell of a lot worse, I feel as though they are downplaying how genuinely evil saddam was by putting him and trump in the same role. Also why are Cartman and butters best friends now? Are they doing that thing that sitcoms do, where they run out of ideas and just make every character date each other, except doing it with the kids being friends? And I don't even need to comment on the AI slop, but I will. I see AI shart everywhere I go and it's tiresome, it's not just lazy but fucking ugly. I didn't have any respect left for Matt and trey but somehow I lost even more respect for them once they decided to contribute to normalizing AI shart. With that said, I recently watched the reboot of Beavis and Butthead and it was 10,000x funnier than new South Park.
