I rather liked the angle at the start where they were actively trying to kill each other yet were in complete agreement and unison about lying to Cady to keep her out of it
It felt novel but it also felt like something I had seen very similar once or twice but couldn't quite put my finger on (similar but not on the mark that springs to mind is the climax of In Bruges when the pregnant woman wanders in and Colin Farrell and Ralph Fiennes have an actual verbal negotiation to go kill each other somewhere else that both of them honor)
