What's curious about this is I saw someone point out that in Shuji's theme in the OST you can hear the bubbling of water. Also considering Machu loves jellyfish, his character design is reminiscent of one if you look at his hair. There's also the fact that Shuji told her she could be free like a fish swimming in the sea the first time he calmed her down in the kira-kira space after she lost her vision.
