Australia is 1000x worse than the UK. Australia literally stores your fucking browsing history for 2 years minimum, that every Government department, every Government accociated agency and every NGO or corporation that works with the Government has access too. Also just the annoying part about Australia is how much they nitpick and make bullshit laws around daily life, like no drinking a beer outside, or needing a permit to have a picnic, or needing a helmet and supposed to have ID while riding a bike and having undercover cops fucking EVERYWHERE. Literally was taking a piss behind some trees on a bushwalk and a fucking undercover cop appeared out of nowhere and made me pour water on it or get a fine.
Worst was the "lockout laws" which functionally were curfews on adults.
Australia is what happens when the worst aspects of US and UK society are smashed into one people, and then left to fester in complete isolation.
