playing on the last day of eu4 again (jan 1st 1821)
starting as goybr, i was left with 60% of india and the other 40% being vassal swarm which was pretty bad actually, 26 of them rendered my dip mana useless (-15 per month until my dip went to -999). this was bad because i couldn't dev the 5 coal mines in the britroonia and you might say "well just break vassalisation le duh!" until you realized it costs 20 prestige per break vassal aand the fact that france being a revolutionary gives every monarchy perma -5 prestige. so i was left with no choice but to descend on africa to start farming prestige there while breaking vassalage one at a time, the rare time where "concede defeat" is useful. after i was able to accumulate dip points normally again, consolidating things was smooth sailing from then on. picrel is me preparing for the last great war between me and wide prueBen, winning condition is to occupy the entire thing. not sure if my armies can take on theirs without cheesy strat but i do have way more manpower and cash
