Yeah he just takes everything. Even inoccuous stuff like Toriel hanging out with 'Mr. Sans' in the ending of Chapter 4 of Deltarune is literally taking from Earthbound's ending where Lardna Minch shacks up with 'Mr. Prettyman'.

His games are like clippings of other games just stitched together into a Frankenstein.
