No. They are useless. The gears break after some use and desu they aren't even waterproof or bright enough.
Crank lights are usually 10-50 lumens. My flashlights can give 50 hours on 30 lumens. I have a spare battery. I have a powerbank. All in all, once charged I have about 300 hours of backup. That is 50 days of runtime with 6 hours use each day.
With all my flashlights and batteries I have 1000 hours of continuous runtime.
Only thing that makes sense in survival kit is a carbide lamp. If emp happens and everything electronic dies then carbide lamps are great for lighting.
