Yes exactly this, there's a lot of gaslighting about the Prequels from Yidsney freaks and FAT FUCK Stoklaska, but as someone who was there in 2005 the hype for Episode 3 was astronomical, tons of great video games and books and comics and toys, an excellent reception, the high from Episode 3 lasted for YEARS, and by the time George sold in 2012 the franchise had entered a more or less respectable retirement. No amount of revisionism can save Disney's Slop Wars.
