The ending does kinda flop a bit, but the ride is pretty good.
It's not like Umineko, which is just boring and lakes the paranoia element. Way to make not knowing what is real a BORING thing. Always drop it on ep 2. Higurashi I got well into 7 before I couldn't do any more. I had my fun and it was nice. Umi was pain. I will never understand Umi fags. I guess that catering to trans people just paid out for R07. Ignoring that, it has fuck all. Hig is directed (not written because it's a VN) better.
