and yes half of floodland is just smug ironic jabs at old bandmates. lucretia and this corrosion take up half of the album pretty much.
and yes the covers do mean a lot, they didnt cover velvet underground or suicide or the stooges or stones just for shits n giggles. they wore their influeces on their sleeves.
