Was introduced to Wright through a random art thread like five years ago. You asked people to say what kind of art they like, don't get all pissy because I responded with a good artist whose work I enjoy. I like Sam Jinks' sculpture work as well, are you gonna bitch and moan and call me a pleb for not picking some obscure "found art" hack instead?

The stuff that generative AI models are best suited for are, unfortunately, not the things that most of the popular developers are currently directing their effort at. Machine Learning is ideal for highly repetitive or tedious tasks or those with rote procedures where you can take advantage of very narrow, cultivated datasets for training the model; making a language model, for example, that only summarizes technical manuals as opposed to summarizing any kind of document, or developing a tool for animators that could automate time-consuming inbetweening or clean up work. Instead most developers are trying to sell AI as a does-it-all tool because it's easier to hype up and get investors on board for that sort of schtick than it is to say "we want to develop a machine learning tool for a video editor that goes through and all the selected clips and automatically clips and times them for the best match cuts".

Eat a fucking bag of dicks. Not every opinion someone has that doesn't meet your approved level of smugness is generated by an algorithm.
