FOR YEARS I'VE BEEN BLINDLY CLAIMING GX IS CANON AND NOW YOU FINALLY TELL ME TAKAHASHI DID WRITE IT? I mean holy hell. In this interview he does talk like he came up with the idea and wrote a fairly big chunk of it, if not the entire main plot while only leaving the filler bits to the anime team, he speaks with complete knowledge and property of what was going on much differently from, say, Toriyama talking about post-Z projects as something he only contributed with a couple of designs and ideas.
My entire girly life I thought he had merely done the designs for main characters and villains but he actually directed the story to be the success it became.
