Fun fact:
In robocop 2 Frank Miller sketched that robocop was able to store auto 9 magazines in his left forearm, so when he runs out of ammo, the forearm opens and show like 5 or 6 magazines, so robocop releases the empty one, and jams the gun into the New magazazine to continue his dicks exploding rampage.
In the end it wasn't implemented in the movie because they agreed that no one gives that much of a shit about how many bullets can the auto 9 gun shoot per magazine.
