I bailed in the early 30s. The story was dragging but even worse was Capullo's art. Well aware others like Greg's style from that time period.

I've always loved his interpretations of other characters. It's a shame his business ventures took him away from drawing a monthly book. I don't think he gets the credit he deserves as a visual storyteller. There was pushback concerning the darker edge of his Spiderman title prior to Image. It occurred to me that maybe Marvel should have printed that book under the Epic imprint and gotten an established writer to help him out with that aspect. Perhaps even more mature content set in a different continuity. But I know he was blinded by his ego at that time and still continues to place art above story in importance.
I've got several disagreements with him but I respect his hussle and how he elevated toy sculpting in the 90s.
