A small thing to help toward that, since I'm going to upload the Whalur book (finally) later on tonight, but I was thinking of changing the Cruel Master/Experienced Hunter rules, right now I don't think the Whalurs have the potential to generate enough PAIN tokens to ever make Emanations relevant, and that would be neat to see. So, I'm thinking the Whalur [x] rule would include PAIN token generation from Beasts and Deep targets, and perhaps the Cruel Master/Experienced Hunter could simply add on to that.

We mostly play 2e, the books are in the mediafire and on the disc*rd. Main Rule book for rules (duh), Worldbook for the lore (although if you want an intro the OG design links in the OP are probably the fastest way to learn about the setting).
We play on TTS or Owlbear, using teams or disc*rd for the voice chat. You could sit in a game (given my opponent is fine with it, of course), I would also be glad to give you an intro game if you wanted. I am getting swamped with rl stuff to do o it may take a bit of coordinating and advance to set up.
