I just straight up lied and said milestone 1 of my feature is done. It’s not done. I have some code written by ChatGPT on my laptop that doesn’t work. The thing is the people reviewing my progress updates don’t understand jack shit if it doesn’t come in the form of a multi-colored bar chart so they’ll literally just take my word for it and I won’t get fired. Only once the whole project is done will I not be able to lie any longer because the finished product has a UI. HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA
