Yes, the game is buggy and I needed to restart it 7 times (6 times all sounds besides BGM disappeared and 1 time controller just stopped working. Oh, and one time I lost save but it was restored after I rebooted the game 2 times).
The aesthetic of the game isn't goofy at all comparing to this pic.
Game play is pretty fine but controlling scheme is a little confusing in the begining
