I can understand why commoners in WH40k turn to Chaos. They live in abject misery, with no hope of anything better. But how could you possibly justify it as a Rogue Trader? You're one of the wealthiest individuals in the universe. There might be others with more resources at their disposal, at the highest ranks of Imperial bureaucracy, but they're nowhere near as free to use those resources. What could Chaos possibly have to offer you, that you cannot simply buy?
