Yup... and coincidentally enough, the entire concept of hypnotism was created by TWO different people, in different places, around the same time...

One of them had a foolish notion that spinning magnets around people's heads would somehow "hypnotize them" into taking orders and behaving against their will. (the way you fantasize about hypnotizing a woman into thinking youre interesting)

His name was Franz Mesmer... of course his spinning magnetic contraption wasn't capable of hypnotizing any, let alone turning them into unwilling zombies that took commands....

Yet we still celebrate his experimentation to this very day, every time we use the word MESMERIZED............

However... around that same time, there was another fellow who was also contemplating hypnotism...

Yet he realized there was no contraption or magic word that made people take orders against their will, though he instead focused his research on HOW & WHY people allow themselves to take suggestions...
