is it me or normalfags are not into anime as much as they used to be

Why do millennials have such a chip on their shoulder about emulation, every time I mention I played an older game through emulation they get all pissy over that fact, I'll even get lectures about how it didn't count since i didn't play it on the original system + crt. I just wanna play video games man I don't wanna spend a small fortune everytime i want to start a series.
