What branch should I join if I want to accumulate enough combat training to be able to get hired as a contractor/mercenary/pmc to work in security or in conflicts around the globe?

I don't care if I live or die, but I do care about becoming the soldier I idealize. I'm 26 years old and I have a college degree. Would serving 4 years in the army infantry or Marines and then joining the French Foreign Legion be a good option?

Or should I just go to Ukraine?
