What explains the dramatic difference between demon's souls and dark souls? I'm playing through the original version and I'm blown away by the atmosphere and environmental storytelling, everything just oozes soul. It seems to me that they did away with all that to focus on the action, making dark souls especially feel lifeless in comparison.
