I always thought a FireEmblem game from Bowsers POV that explained why Bowser keeps kidnapping peach would be amazing. I actually had the outline for a story.

>Bowser has yet to "battle harden" yet. So his scales, spikes shell, etc. Have not yet developed.
>The king reconsiders, offers an exchange of protection for a Marraige between Mushroom Kingdom and Koopa kingdom.
>Peach is excited by this as Bowser is attractive and only slightly older. Bowser is not attracted to Peach as she is still a child, but realizes the importance arranged marriage alliances and that she will eventually grow up.
So what does this new agreement to fight a nonthreat on behalf of their neighbors cost Bowser? Everything.
