I had to lower the resolution of the video quite a bit to get this to fit. I'm wondering if I should start lowering the audio bitrate for my conversions.

Never heard of newbeat but that's cool. There are "daycore" remixes, and "slowed and reverb" seems to be especially popular nowadays.
