Was at Tim Hortons and saw a kid with a Killua sweater.
Went to the video store and saw the HxH BDs up for sales.
Library had a near complete set of the manga.
I wouldn't say it's a Naruto, but it's pretty comparable in popularity to what Inuyasha had 20 years ago. Its been consistently gaining western popularity since 2016/17 I think (was never that popular before, the original 1999 anime was basically LotGH tier in terms of "Everyone in the anime scene know about it, but only people in the anime scene know about it").

I don't know if this is some new /v/ specific drama, but I sincerely hope you're still not fighting /hxh/ like four years after the general disbanded and everyone went their separate ways (except the Killua pedo and Machifag (same person)).
