The only recent remake was RS2 ROTS, which was again, a desperate move to try and make the franchise popular with zoomers by bastardizing it into an Octopath game and taking it away from its actual creators, the rest were remasters that nobody but the few surviving fans cared about and the recent mainlines have been made with a nonexistent budget because for some reason SE still doesn't want to acknowledge that one of their most lucrative franchises in the last decade exists.
Live A Live was them throwing a bone to Tokita after so many years and DQ is DQ.
Final Fantasy always gets the lion's share while everyone else is treated as a third rate citizen and you still want more money poured into that zombie franchise? Are you insane? Not only do they burn millions on mainlines like FF16 at the cost of crippling literally everyone else in the company, now you want even more FF than what we're already getting?
