Playing FFX I was always excited to progress and see the characters interact with each other, so much that I found it hard to put the game down. E33 is fun and well-made, but I had a really hard time caring for most of the characters and didn't feel as invested.
And no it's not because of nostalgia, I played FFX for the first time last year.
