You do NOT control her. You are her advisors. That murder princess is going on the war path tearing ass across the land as fast as possible in straight line to the evil king's stronghold and you can't stop her. Instead, you try to weaken or clear the path so she isn't killed enroute and has enough strength to kill her target..
Heavy co-operative resource and troop management as you try to kite the enemy lords away from the princess's path. The Lord's all behave a little differently and when you first encounter one you flip a plot twist card that alters them further. Not all of those cards are bad with a notable example being one that reveals the Lord is actually your cousin or childhood friend who then just straight up defects to your side.
