I'd say if you want to view Lilly as a decently profound character, her metaphysical beliefs should also account for something, unless there's no actual faith to speak of and she simply happens to be mirroring what she was taught at her Catholic middle school, where she was sent simply because it was the best education money could buy (we're all familiar with fancy anime school names starting with a "Saint", of that I'm sure).
For example, suppose she tells herself "I shouldn't have lied back then", what would be the idea behind the thought? That lying makes you feel instinctively guilty or that it's bad because it's explicitly banned in a Commandment she acknowledges as part of her own moral code?

We can only see a cross pendant when she's wearing her leisure clothes, although perhaps this is simply due to Yamaku's dress code.
The repaired pre-alpha doesn't really touch upon the subject either, so I guess there is little canon information to work with and no further progress is possible
