That depends what you want to do. For gambling, shows and buffets, I have no idea. You can go to Las Vegas, rent a car, stay in some place outside gaming corridors (Skyline, Railroad Pass, etc.) and spend your time and very little money checking out all kinds of things - Lake Mead, Nelson, take a drive to Laughlin, head up to Zion in Utah, Pahrump and Death Valley, Mt. Charleston, etc. Las Vegas itself is a pretty interesting area. Picrel is the Armenian Genocide memorial in Sunset Park out by the Airport.
I go to Las Vegas because it's a relatively inexpensive getaway for me. It's a good jumping off point. But the gaming areas aren't even worth checking out - the vibe is terrible, the people are even worse and prices are absurd; if you're drunk and stupid, or have a fuckton of money to burn, it's probably okay, but the more you pay attention, the more you realize it's not a place you want to be. Spend a quiet evening in your room and rest up for the next day.
