Cavendish is pseudoscience by definition - Cant isolate what you claim to be gravity to prove it as the cause. Also you can’t control for the variable of electrostatics, and even if you could, the cavendish experiments and those like it do not produce consistent results. Students performing the cavendish experiment for example are typically instructed to throw out any results that disagree with the expected conclusion. They incorporate cooking of the books into the very methodology of the experiment itself to make it appear as if it’s conclusion valid, but it’s obviously not.
