Why do Zoomers always argue so disingenuously? There is a massive world of difference between Diablo 4 super casualized every class only cares about one number and PoE having super obtuse and hidden mechanics. Path of Exile has been out for 10 years and still, to this day, does not have a death recap. You can roll into a high level map and just instantly die and have no idea what killed you or how to improve. Is that "true skill" gaming? To have to download 3rd party programs to even begin to make a build or plan out your character? Some of the strongest builds require you to build maximum block chance which has nothing to do with armor, weapon, or ascendancy bonuses but if you don't have 100% block you instantly die. You look on the passive skill tree and there are nodes for damage (simple) and then nodes for "also some damage but also impale chance" but if you're running an impale build it actually doesn't help you and bricks your character. It's retarded; "hardcore" gamers are easily tricked and get the wool pulled over their eyes because after investing time in the game it must be immune to all criticism because "hur that's part of the difficulty!!!"

Personally, I really wanted them to go with their original plan of forcing PoE2 to replace/update PoE1 and make the turbo zoom & boom hyper autists seethe, but looks like it's not in the cards. Oh well.
